I will be “debating” (discussing is a kinder word) the prominent apologist for the Trinity Michael Brown, who is a Messianic Jew, on February 8th at 3 pm EST (show will be archived at http://lineoffireradio.askdrbrown.org/2010/02/08/february-8-2010/).
Then there is popular debater James White, author of a small and very readable paperback The Forgotten Trinity. The site for the discussion is www.premier.org.uk/unbelievable

It's almost time, Mr Buzzard. I pray for Yahweh's and Jesus' guidance. It is their work, not ours. God is a mighty helper. Even though we're surrounded by advocates of what is utterly erroneous, those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Yahweh's blessing, Mr Buzzard,
Jaco
Jaco,
Thank you so much for your encouraging words. We'll see what comes. At least the audience will be exposed to some of the major issues involved in showing that God's anointed cannot be God!
Anthony
I listened to the discussion today live. It seemed that anything that Mr Brown didnt agree with was in his opinion a case of "special pleading." Well done.
Dustin
Yep, I took him up on his "special pleading" when it came to Heb 1.10. Where he agrees its the Septuagint reading but then says it reads "completely differently than originally written in Ps 102 in Hebrew or the Septuagint”. Go figure!
You should perhaps comment on his site and prod a little bit more:

Oh, Mr Buzzard, what a show!!! Yahweh our God indeed proved to be a mighty one! Mr Buzzard, your presentation, your elegance, your solid presentation of Scripture proved the Truth without any doubt.
As a former JW, as you know, Mr Buzzard, I have been longing for something substantial again. To have one's trust in a sectarian theology shattered and then to stand up against a crowd who contradict is humanly impossible. But Mr Buzzard, my God and my saviour have not let me down. Thank you, thank you for being such a crucial part also in my life in doing my bit in defending divine Truth!
Always grateful,
Jaco
I live in the clacton area, please there must be someone who believes as we do. I seem to be
surrounded by people who believe that Jesus is
God.
that we go to heaven. that there no resurrection of the dead, but Believe Jesus, comes down. I had one discussion with a lady in a class I attend. She said, it states in John 1:1 that Jesus made the world, so he prexsisted. I replied, that talks about when
the world is renewed and a new heaven, when the
Father returns to the earth also. She stated
she could stand up for what she believed. But
she could not. I truly hope that through the
articles you write Anthony. And that I myself have
learned the truth of the bible. She might stop
anf think and read the bible with a open mind
I'm hoping very much. I ask the Father if he
is willing to help this woman learn the truth
Keep up the good work Anthony. Virgi1
Dear Anthony, As Jaco said you had elegance.
To me you had too much elegance, instead of plain speaking. When you spoke of John saying
about Jesus being before him. To me it would have been better to say. Jesus was in the Fathers mind at the foundation of the world. But then I do not have your learning. I believe you lost him in your elegance, because
you were very british in your speech. You did ask for comments. No disrespect to you at all.
Keep up the good work of the Father and Jesus,
may He continue to bless you. Virgi1
Dear Anthony, Have just listened to the debate between yourself and James White. Really well done, plainly spoken, it was worth listening to. I will be sending an e-mail to Unbelievable
with my comments, which I enclose:- Hello Unbelievable. I have just listened to the debate between Anthony Buzzard and James White.
I enclose my comments.:- I know a lot of churches make people believe that Jesus was with the Father in the beginning. The fact is
Jesus was in the Father's mind at the foundation of the world. Jesus never said he was perfect. He said only God was good. The Father is our saviour, Jesus still is a man even tho he was resurrected from the dead. The Spirit who many people are led to believe as
the person, is God's power which He created all things and uses to keep the universe in it's place. Jesus died firstly so that God's will would be done, the for our redemption, justifercation, grace and forgiveness of sins.
John 1:1 relates to the time when there will be a new heaven and a new earth, not from the beginning. If Jesus was coming from heaven why
ever would make himself into a baby, when all he had to do was just come down and walk into Gallilee. God could not empty Himself impossible. The Lord said to my lord sit at my right hand till I make your enimies your footstool. In the true writtne word the is a big L for God and a little l for Jesus. The Greek is based on paganism. Adoni and Adonia are two different words, they cannot mean the same thing. Yours truthfully Virgi1
